Quint,
I would start them in 2 inch pots and you want them in warm southern exposure window.
After they have their first set of true leaves move them into a 4 inch pot and if the stems are about 4 or 5 inches long in the 2 inch pots plant them deeper in the 4 inch pots. All that fuzzy stuff on the stems are potential roots and so the deeper planting will make for a healthier plant. When the tomatoe gets to about 6 to 8 inches in the 4 inch pot and outside conditons aren't conducive to plants then move it into a gallon pot and again plant it deeper. After that you might want to think about container gardening and move it into a 5 gallon bucket and leave it them there.

Hello,
I'm about to start off some tomatoes indoors. Does anyone have any suggestions on the pot
size or other factors?
I live in Zone 6b, Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Thanks.
